Details About Your Stay
Included
The water at the cottage is potable. For the extra comfort of our guests you will find two Brita filtration jugs available for use in the main refrigerator.

A basic allotment of paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, hand soap, and tissues is available in the cabin.

Highspeed internet (STARLINK) is included and a mesh system is installed to provide a consistent wifi signal throughout the cottage and also allow for a LAN connection should this be required.

At this time a limited amount of firewood is included in your booking. It works out to be approximately two bundles, however we are securing seasoned and split firewood from a local supplier and will have some options available at cost should guests want to have more. We do not make any money off of the firewood but would like to keep this amenity sustainable. Guests are also welcome to bring their own.

Guests must provide their own lifejackets to ensure proper fit and safety.
Check-in and Check-out
Check-in is 3:00pm on the day of your arrival. Check-out is 10:00am on the day of your departure. Due to the necessity to adequately inspect, clean and sanitize the property before and after each guest, it can be difficult to accommodate early arrivals or late check-out times. However, we will do our best to accommodate reasonable requests.

Payment
We accept payments in cash, cheque, or e-transfer.
To reserve the cottage a minimum $300.00 deposit must be made immediately upon booking. For reservations longer than 7 nights, the deposit is $500.00.
Full payment must be made 14 days prior to booking or the reservation is considered cancelled.
Full refunds will be provided up until 14 days prior to arrival. For cancellations between 7-14 days prior to arrival, only 50% of the deposit will be returned. The deposit is non-refundable if cancellation occurs within 7 days of arrival.

Snow Removal and Parking
The snow will be cleared on the property and deck areas prior to your arrival. This will clear adequate parking and provide safe access to the hot tub and deck areas. Should any further snow clearing be required by guests there are shovels located just inside and outside the entrance. In the event guests experience reduced traction on the driveway (depending on tires and AWD vs 2WD), we have provided de-icing salt in the large bin beside the main door which you are welcome to use. Please only use as much as necessary.
